"When our girls put on their Blazers, they mean business. The Blazer is a standard by which we all are held accountable to.
Black Girls in Blazers was formed on the premise that Black girls should look and feel good about themselves all the time. We are committed to serving those who are cut from an unprivileged fabric. Together we will help guide them on the path to becoming the powerful, confident, and beautiful women of the generations to come.
Our Blazer
Wearing the Blazer signifies not just our collective identity, but also our commitment to excellence, teamwork, and integrity. It's more than just a piece of clothing—it's a symbol of our resilience, determination, and unwavering spirit. Every time we wear it, we are reminded of the strength and unity of our team, and the high standards we strive to uphold."
Black Girls in Blazers partners with schools, small groups, and organizations to provide tailored empowerment sessions. We come to you, allowing you to customize your booking to meet the unique needs of your group.
Our engaging two-hour sessions cover a variety of topics, including health and fitness, literacy, self-esteem, self-care, leadership, bullying, social media awareness, and more. Participants will gain the confidence and poise to take their place at the table, learning the essential codes of etiquette and professional conduct.
Beyond workshops, we offer mentoring, parent support groups, college application guidance, and additional resources to ensure long-term success. Let’s work together to equip the next generation with the tools they need to thrive.
We do this because we’ve been there. Black girls are often misjudged and labeled as aggressive, loud, angry, or too mature for their age. Beyond these harmful stereotypes, they also face the compounded challenges of racial and gender inequality.
Our dedicated sisterhood is here to change that. We provide the support, guidance, and sense of belonging that is too often denied to them. As Black women, we understand the power of community, mentorship, and representation.
We encourage parents, educators, and all who value and uplift Black girls to support our mission. Together, we will change the narrative and create a future where they are seen, heard, and celebrated. Our sisterhood is here to help not just while they are young, but for a lifetime. As Black women we can provide that sense of belonging that is so often ignored. We encourage parents, teachers, and those who value our Black girls to support our organization. Together we will change the narrative.
